Thin sheet of glass

I glide along with considerably ease
through past moments this seems like a breeze
instead of falling I feel the wind basking my face
as I guide others along the this thick sheet of glass
then someone catches my eyes
so elegant and graceful I swore she could fly
I looked at her with a passign glace
then she looked at me I was caught in a trance
As I stand behind this thin sheet of glass
I quickly looked away with embarassment
I just go gliding along wondering what to say
if she were to ever come this way
she did not aproach me so I wondered
should I break down
this thin sheet of glass
I then took a leap and I began to talk
to skate backwards what an interesting thought
then we talked and I thought all was well
but then I seemed to have fell
through another thin sheet of glass
I had to retreat back behind my sheet of glass
for in hopes that time would pass
Will I ever truly leave my place behind this thin sheet of glass....

As an experiance from tonight I learned many things. One of which I myself must find a balance between being gentlmenly and being charming and witty the latter of which I am far from. When it comes to talking or approaching a female I tense up and get nervous for I am afraid of myself or the outcome of what has happened or could happen. Which there after leads to inevitable turn down. Well I there for put myself behind a sheet of glass so to speak and let myself just to watch these girls and no approaching them leavig them in peace. But tonight with the added help of someone I broke down that wall but was it worth it or not....
